This is my brother, David. He’s 22 years old and has been in prison since he was 18. He cycled in and out of juvie and alternative schools due to his ADHD. He developed a drug problem, and instead of getting help, he has been thrown into prison, dehumanized, devalued, and left behind.  He is a person, a human, with a story. His story is just as important as his actions and choices. We need to rehabilitate the sick, not push them into the lowest position of our sick caste system.
